The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs
in partnership with the Confederation of
Indian Industry (CII) and supported by
the Government of NCT of Delhi, is once
again organising the Pravasi Bhartiya
Divas (PBD) (6th edition), scheduled for
7- 9 January 2008 at New Delhi.
The PBD – the annual flagship event of
the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs,
aims to connect more than 25 million
overseas Indians and bring the expertise
and knowledge of the Indian Community
abroad to India to contribute and
integrate into India's growth process.
The PBD 2008 will also provide an
opportunity to all to network and
develop a robust and rewarding
relationship. The PBD traditionally sees
over 1500 overseas Indians participating
in the event!
The highlights of the PBD 2008
include:
• A 2-day Convention, featuring diverse
themes with eminent speakers
• Trade and Industry Exhibition
• Business Networking
• Cultural Evenings

The PBD 2008 has been widely promoted
all over the world through print and
electronic media partnerships with
newspapers and channels and also through
numerous Indian associations. Road Shows
have also been organised ensuring wide
publicity of the event.
Accommodation and travel details are now
on the PBD website. Due to other
international events scheduled in Delhi
at the same time, availability of
accommodation in Delhi is limited. You
are advised to book your accommodation
well in advance.
