MAICCI President Mr. Pardip Kumar Kukreja and ExCo members paid  a courtesy visit to the new High Commissioner of India to Malaysia, H.E . Mr. Ashok K. Kantha on the 4th of May, 2007. The delegation  comprised representatives from other NGOs too.

During the one hour dialogue both Mr. Pardip and H.E. Mr. Kantha  exchanged views on how both parties can work together for the benefit of  our local Indian entrepreneurs and businessmen from India.

During the discussion Mr. Pardip highlighted inter-alia the followings:

 
 

1. Training Programs related to SMEs in India
2. Training Grants by the Indian Government for NRIs and PIOs
 

 
 

H.E. Mr.Kantha expressed his concern over our business community and agreed to assist MAICCI wherever possible  to realize its vision.

This meeting was a precursor of sorts to meaningful and mutually beneficial ones to come in the future.
