Established in 1996, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). It is the statutory organization set up to promote Hong Kong's trade in goods and services. It helps to develop Hong Kong's role as an information hub, a sourcing and business centre in Asia-Pacific and the gateway to the Chinese Mainland.
