We are pleased to inform you that a Trade and Investment Mission to Japan is scheduled from 5 - 10 July 2008. This mission will be lead by the Hon. Minister of International Trade and Industry (Malaysia).

The objective of this mission is to attract investors from Japan to invest in Malaysia and to better improve the two- way relationship between Malaysia and Japan.

With regards to this mission, two trade and investment seminars will be organised in the following cities: -

i) Osaka - 7 July 2008

ii) Yokohama - 9 July 2008

The said seminars will be attended by participants from the manufacturing sectors, potential investors and businessmen. Individual Business Meetings' sessions will also be arranged between members of this delegation with chosen potential investors and entrepreneurs from the said country.

Participants of this mission will be able to meet and discuss with businessmen and potential investors from the said cities who are keen to invest in Malaysia.

Interested participants are required to pay an administration fee of RM500.00 payable to "Malaysian Industrial Development Authority". Travel and accommodation costs are to be borne by the individual participant. The closing date of registration is on 24 June 2008.
